SUNDAY’S BEST SUNDAY SCHOOL
Sunday's Best brings a dose of reverence, and a nod to Salt Lake City International Airport's new Sundays Best location. The design draws on ecclesiastical architecture and tropical art deco glamour in equal measure: gothic arches stand in for stained glass, a gilded chandelier hovers like a halo, and a sunburst medallion anchors the bar like an altarpiece. The result is less "regular dining experience" and more "chapel devoted to brunch"; sophisticated, a little irreverent, and built for patrons who want a moment of ceremony before they start their day. Every material choice, from the tile to the millwork, was made to hold up to volume without losing the sense of occasion.
OUR APPROACH
Art deco detailing runs through every fixture — from the sculptural brass chandeliers to the fluted wall sconces — giving the space a sense of glamour usually reserved for evening service. Deep jewel-toned velvet booths and warm wood tones add richness underfoot and at eye level, while tall windows flood the room with natural light. Tropical wall-coverings and playful signage moments throughout the space keep the mood from feeling too precious — the result is a room that feels indulgent and a little celebratory. It's a project that reflects Hale Collective's approach at every scale: elevated, detail-driven design that makes the everyday feel a little more special.

ELEVATING THE EVERYDAY
Sunday's Best proves that great hospitality design comes down to the details — the ones you notice and the ones you just feel. By pairing art deco glamour with tropical warmth and moments of playful signage, the design turns a simple meal into an occasion.
EASY LIKE…
If the architecture is the sermon, the branding is the punchline. "Easy Like Sunday Morning" is merely one example of the playful branding used throughout the space. Lush, tropical wallpaper softens the gothic formality with something closer to a greenhouse than a nave, letting pattern and humor do what stone and symmetry can't: remind guests this is still, first and foremost, a party. Energetic plays of deep blue are splashed throughout the space to keep the energy fun and exciting.
