  • Hospitality Design | Phoenix, Arizona

    Hale Collective is a boutique hospitality design studio creating immersive restaurants, bars, hotels, and entertainment environments rooted in experience, storytelling, and atmosphere. Our work blends thoughtful concept development with highly detailed execution to create spaces that feel layered, memorable, and authentic.

    We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer with a strong creative voice, technical expertise, and leadership mindset to join our growing studio. This role is ideal for a designer who is passionate about hospitality, thrives within a collaborative environment, and is excited to lead projects from early concept through construction execution.

    As a boutique studio, our team is highly engaged in every phase of the process. Senior Designers play a critical role in shaping project direction, mentoring team members, coordinating with clients and consultants, and ensuring design intent is carried through every level of execution.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead multiple hospitality projects through all phases of design and execution

    • Oversee project development from concept and schematic design presentations through documentation and construction administration

    • Develop and direct conceptual narratives, finish palettes, FF&E selections, and materiality

    • Produce and oversee detailed drawing sets, elevations, millwork details, and project documentation in Revit

    • Coordinate with consultants, fabricators, contractors, vendors, and project teams

    • Lead client presentations, meetings, and project communication

    • Mentor and support junior designers within the studio

    • Balance multiple fast-paced projects while maintaining design quality, organization, and deadlines

    • Contribute to the creative culture and continued growth of the studio

    Required Qualifications

    • 7+ years of professional interior design experience

    • Hospitality or food & beverage experience strongly preferred

    • Advanced proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite required

    • Strong understanding of construction documentation, detailing, and project coordination

    • Knowledge of materials, finishes, furnishings, fabrication processes, and vendor management

    • Understanding of building and ADA codes

    • Strong graphic presentation and visual communication skills

    • Excellent organizational, leadership, and time management abilities

    • Experience coordinating and leading project teams

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or related field

    • NCIDQ certification is a plus

    We are seeking an Interior Designer with a strong creative perspective and technical proficiency to join our growing studio. As a boutique studio, you will join a team that works closely and collaboratively across all aspects of a project. Designers are given meaningful ownership, direct client exposure, and the opportunity to contribute creatively and strategically throughout the process.

    Responsibilities

    • Balance multiple hospitality projects through all phases of design and execution

    • Develop concepts, presentations, finish palettes, and FF&E selections

    • Produce detailed drawing sets and project documentation in Revit

    • Assist with material sourcing, specifications, vendor coordination, and design research

    • Coordinate with consultants, fabricators, contractors, and project partners

    • Participate in design presentations, client meetings, and site visits

    • Contribute to a thoughtful, design-driven studio culture

    • Stay abreast of design trends and integrate innovative products into projects

    Required Qualifications

    • 4+ years of professional interior design/architectural experience

    • Hospitality or food & beverage experience preferred

    • Proficiency in Revit & Adobe Creative Suite required

    • Strong understanding of construction documentation, detailing, and project coordination
