We are delighted to have been part of the revamp history of the iconic Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale, Arizona. This historic mid-century gem, which originally opened in 1956, has been a favorite of locals and the Hollywood elite for nearly 70 years. Our focus was to breathe new life into the hotel’s public spaces, seamlessly blending its storied past with contemporary sophistication. By drawing inspiration from the building’s original earth-toned and geometric designs, we’ve preserved the essence of the original vision while infusing it with modern elegance.

Key to enhancing the hotel’s public areas was to reflect its vibrant history and stylish charm. The lobby, lounges, and other communal spaces were elevated by featuring a mix of mid-century modern aesthetics, creating an inviting atmosphere that resonates with the hotel's Hollywood heritage and its connection to the glamorous past.
The design extends into Cafe Zuzu restaurant which is located at the lobby level, which included adding new colors, sleek updated furniture and a modernized layout.
Our cabana design approach was about mid-century charm and defining a destination oasis space around the pool area. Each cabana provides comfort and echoes the hotel's iconic aesthetic. We emphasized open, airy layouts to enhance the sense of relaxation, while using high-quality materials that are both durable and visually striking.
ROOMS & SUITES
Another standout feature of our revamp work is the guest rooms. Each room was enhanced in comfort and style. We introduced vibrant, colorful upholstery and patterned carpets, bringing a fresh energy to the spaces. Some rooms even feature striking freestanding tubs positioned centrally, adding a touch of luxury and modern flair.
Our work on Hotel Valley Ho celebrates its rich history and iconic status, ensuring that both its storied past and future shine brightly. It’s been a privilege to help restore and modernize a true Scottsdale landmark.
