HARKINS CAMELVIEW
Drawing inspiration from the golden era of classic movie sound-stages, our design merges nostalgia with contemporary flair to create an immersive cinematic experience.
The design captures the essence of traditional film sets with expansive concrete-like tile panels, grand stage doors, and towering lighting trusses. These elements pay homage to the iconic features of classic movie studios, while modern touches bring a fresh perspective to the space. Central to our design are the striking canopy “trees,” which honor the beloved “mushroom” structures that decorated the entry of the original theatre, blending old-world charm with new-world style that anchor the key lobby areas of the ticket counter, bar, refreshment and seating areas.
Our design for Harkins Theatre Camelview celebrates the magic of film, blending nostalgic elements with modern comforts to create a truly memorable cinematic journey.

DYNAMIC FEATURES
To further enrich the atmosphere, we introduced a dynamic interactive video “film strip” that showcases a curated collection of classic movie posters, key scenes, and hidden treasures from cinematic history. Subtle backlighting and color-changing columns enhance the movie-watching ambiance, adding excitement and vibrancy to every visit.
CINEMATIC REVIVAL
We developed the new branding for Camelview that reflects the theatre’s cinematic legacy. Our updated logo and graphic design accents draw on the classic theatre canopy and vintage “trees,” seamlessly integrating nostalgia with modern design throughout the theatre’s signage, packaging, and highlighting interior features.
THE FREEZER
For a touch of exclusivity, we created The Freezer, a luxurious hidden speakeasy-like experience featuring a private VIP screening room. . Accommodating up to 24 guests, this opulent space features bespoke reclining lounge seating with branded pillows and blankets. Guests can enjoy a personalized menu served in their own private kitchen. The state-of-the-art digital projection and sound system, coupled with dedicated event ambassadors and in-theatre food service, ensure a seamless and unforgettable experience. For added convenience, The Freezer includes a private en suite restroom, providing an extra touch of luxury and comfort.
