Pittsburgh International Airport has more than a new Landside Terminal. It now has five new concessions in the Airside Terminal operated by SSP America, a Virginia food and beverage operator.

A grand opening ceremony was held this week to welcome the following:

  • Shake Shack, known for the ShackBurger, crinkle cut fries, hand-spun shakes, and rotating limited-time menu items, opened its first Pittsburgh location in the Strip District in 2024 and has been adding local locations since then.

  • Mia Casa Cantina, a casual Mexican restaurant featuring a menu of fresh, made-to-order dishes and a full-service bar.

  • Bad Egg Breakfast Shack, whose name obviously eliminates all of the mystery surrounding its dining options. The restaurant serves breakfast specialties.

  • Convivie Coffee Roasters, whose website promises "seasonally fresh coffees of dynamic origin; expertly sourcing, sampling, and small-batch roasting from farmers who are passionate about innovative processing methods."

  • Stack & Press, which features sandwiches, salads, soup, and pastries.

The new eateries are "designed to deliver an authentic and approachable dining experience for today’s traveler," an Allegheny County Airport Authority release stated.

"Reflecting the character and culinary diversity of the Pittsburgh region, the new locations showcase>SSP America’s commitment to bringing a true taste of place to airport environments while meeting the pace and expectations of modern travel."
