PIT Celebrates Five New Concessions
Stakeholders from Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) and operator SSP America recently celebrated the opening of five new eateries: Pittsburgh-based Convive Coffee Roastery; well-known national burger brand Shake Shack; deli Stack and Press; Mexican Mi Casa Cantina; and the all-day Bad Egg Breakfast Bar.
“SSP America is strong in both local and national brands,” said Bryan Dietz, PIT’s senior vice president of air service and commercial development. “It’s not generic, it’s not cookie-cutter — it’s something that we’ve partnered with SSP to create a unique, memorable experience for our travelers.”
“We believe airports should feel connected to the places they serve,” added Paul Loupakos, SSP America’s chief development officer. “They’re often the first impression of a city, the last memory travelers take with them.”
